The medical support of ER24 is managed by 3 medical qualified doctors namely Doctors Scholtz, Davis and Wicht.

Dr Davis founded Medical Rescue International, a private national medical Air and ground ambulance organisation. It was South Africa’s first private air ambulance service. It pioneered a Public- private medical partnership with the States emergency medical service and was the first to use paramedics as the primary emergency response component comprising of

24hr control and alarm centre
air and ground bases across the region and
on site clinics and hospitals

Dr Scholtz, ER24’s Chief Medical Doctor, has been practising as a General Practitioner in the Bowen Basin for the past ten years and is familiar with the mining industry.
